Who we are
We are well experienced in the aquatic nursery business and have been working in the plant industry since 1990. We are a family owned business located in central Wisconsin who specializes in the propagating, harvesting, and supplying of submergent and emergent vegetation for various environmental and land reclamation concerns.
We offer products at both wholesale and retail levels to accommodate a variety of customer needs. At J&J Transplant, we harvest all of our plants and seeds fresh from our private wetland, prairies, and greenhouses.

Shipping
We ship direct from our warehouse to consumer via UPS. Shipping and handling costs are factored into the total cost once the order is placed. Orders may be picked up as well to avoid any shipping costs.
Policy
We are not reliable for packages that were not picked up in a timely matter, plants that were not planted properly, and other negligence. For example, if we are shipping you submergent plants that must be cold and wet and the package sits out in hot weather, we are not responsible for replacing those plants.
Once the plants are planted, we are not reliable and will not be replaced at our cost. You may re-order additional plants. If needed, we can assist on how to properly plant your order to give your order the best chance at survival and growth.
Damaged Goods
You may accept the package and ask for a damage inspection from UPS. The damaged package must be saved and shown to a UPS representative. UPS will then contact our office. We ask that you also notify our office of unsatisfactory conditions immediately.

In the instance that an order is received in poor condition and after inspection we are at fault, within 30 days we will replace the order at half the retail price of the replacement material plus the shipping cost. ONE REPLACEMENT ONLY. We carefully inspect every single order and every single plant in warehouse while shipping and know exactly what is being sent out and how well it was packaged. We guarantee our material is of the utmost quality as we harvest each order fresh at our location and ship directly to the customer.
Contract Growing
J&J has encountered situations where contractors delay ordering the necessary materials until shortly before they are needed for planting, only to discover that the plants are not available in sufficient quantity on short notice. This lack of availability can, and has, resulted in unnecessary project delays, the possibility of delay penalties, and the certainty that retainage is held until the plant materials are available and planted.
To avoid this problem, J&J will accept orders for materials to be grown to specifications from 90 days prior to the planting, or up to 1 year or more in the future. This is the best way to assure that our customer gets what they want, when they want it, and at the fairest cost we can provide.
